Meet Chris
Chris started working in the construction industry during high school. He began working with a remodeling contractor and transitioned into concrete work. After a short break from the construction trades, he returned in 2002 and began his career as a carpenter. Chris worked for a couple of design-build contractors in Dane County prior to starting his own construction business in 2006, Progress Builders. Chris maintains his contractor license. Let Chris help you manage your next building project.

Chris enjoyed working on the construction site but found that he also enjoyed property management. He started to identify properties that he could buy and hold as investment opportunities. With his background in the building trades he was able to assess what was necessary to turn project properties into inviting residences. Let Chris support your property management needs by helping with leasing, property inspections, applicant screening, etc.
Becoming a realtor, and later a broker, seemed like a natural fit for Chris given his construction background and interest in real estate investment. Let Chris help you buy or sell a home, build your own or invest.

Meet Lisa
Lisa moved to Madison in 2004 to gain experience in building homes. Trained as a teacher, Lisa wanted to be able to bring real-world experience into the classroom. She enjoyed learning herself while teaching others all phases of home construction.

Lisa’s love of properties extends beyond understanding the construction process; she also enjoys finding the story behind the building. Lisa’s first home was a Sears kit home on Madison’s near west side. Lisa was “sold” with the home’s aesthetics-panel doors, crystal doorknobs, stone fireplace. At 686 square feet, the tiny house had a story to tell. What’s your home’s story?

Lisa also enjoys imagining what a property could be. Lisa purchased her first investment property downtown Madison in 2011. The property required extensive renovation. Lisa guided the process, attempting to return the structure to period-appropriate appearance.
